ACI Federal Inc. is actively recruiting experienced RNs for placement at a distinguished Rehabilitation & Nursing Center client in Vestal, NY.

Registered Nurses (RNs) take on leadership roles in supervising and evaluating the work of multiple nurses to ensure the highest quality care for residents. They play a crucial role in medication administration, treatment procedures, and overall coordination of nursing units.

Job Duties:

  1. Supervising and evaluating the work of multiple nurses in the care and treatment of residents.
  2. Assisting in rendering medications, treatments, and dressings.
  3. Making rounds of nursing units at least three times per shift to discuss problems with the Charge Nurse and ensure optimal care.
  4. Ensuring employees adhere to policies and procedures.
  5. Assisting in preparing and monitoring the daily staffing plan, making adjustments as necessary.
  6. Participating in the hiring process and ensuring the unit atmosphere meets the needs of residents.
  7. Providing staff and family with information and education on WPRNC policies and procedures.
  8. Providing counseling for staff regarding job clarification, job performance, and personnel regulations.
  9. Providing units with necessary equipment and medical supplies.
  10. Maintaining and providing various records and reports.
  11. Conferring with nursing administration and keeping them informed of relevant issues.
  12. Communicating and collaborating with the Clinical Care Coordinator regarding problems related to resident care and staff duties.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a course of study approved by the New York State Education Department, qualifying for Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State.
  • COVID vaccination is required.

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift

Supplemental Schedule:

  • Extended hours
  • Holidays
  • Overtime

Weekly Schedule:

  • 3x12
  • 5x8
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • RN (Required)
