Echocardiography - Echo Tech - Thirteen week contract. Peds a plus.

- Certification Requirements: ARDMS RDCS, CCI-RCS.
- How many scanners/rooms does this department have: 5 scanners-Phillip EPIC CVX.
- Will they have to float/cover any other areas: No
- Common types of imaging: ECHO-3D. See a lot of pediatric- peds experience preferred, NICU-preferred but not required. Inpatient and Outpatient, CVOR- special procedures-watchmen, TAVR, TEE.
- Experience: 2 year experience, 1st time travelers ok.
- Average # of studies per day: 8-10 per day if outpatient, as needed on inpatient units.
- EMR &/or PACS: EPIC. Phillips-Intellispace Cardiovascular.
- Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift: Charge Echo Tech.
- Do they use RRAs: No
- Cardiology in-house for stats: Yes- will read stats in house real time, use Phoenix Children's to read stat peds.
- Do they have to start IVs?: RN will start IV's for "bubble test". RN will assist with Definity test.
- Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-5p. 36 hour guarantee
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.
- Holiday Requirements: Up to 2 of the 3 winter/summer holidays.
- Call or Standby requirement: 5pm-7pm if have pediatric experience- will take call, if no peds experience will not
take call.
- Scrub Color: Hunter Green.
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One day NEO, 2 days on floor orientation.

- Electronic Documentation- EPIC experience required. Ensure it is accurate (there have been inconsistencies on the resume versus the cover page)
- Time Off- Ensure dates make sense for the required start date and are 5 days or less. Include within the attached profile/resume. All RTO needs to be in at time of submission.
- Resume- Ensure resume information is accurate (there’s been an increase in inaccurate information sent). Must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level (if applicable) for each hospital. Explain any employment gaps upon submission and include in attached profile/resume.
- Certifications- Make sure certs are accurate and up to date.
- License- Make sure License is accurate AZ or compact.
- Monday – Sunday varied hours
- 9 hour shifts between 7 – 5pm
- On Call if you can do Peds
