Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of physiology, patient monitoring systems, and exceptional patient care skills. As a CRNA, you will collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management.
Responsibilities
- Administer Anesthesia: CRNAs administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgery or procedures.
- Preoperative Assessment: They evaluate patients before surgery, reviewing medical histories, allergies, and current medications to determine the best anesthesia approach.
- Postoperative Care: CRNAs monitor patients as they wake up from anesthesia, ensuring they recover safely and comfortably.
- Pain Management: CRNAs may also be involved in managing pain post-surgery, including the use of regional anesthesia or other pain relief methods.
- Collaborating with Surgeons and Anesthesiologists: Although CRNAs often work independently, they collaborate closely with the medical team, including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Experience
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from an accredited program.
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Strong knowledge of physiology and patient monitoring systems.
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology related to anesthesia.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $130.00 - $135.00 per hour
