🩺 Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Various Units

ACI Health is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants for days shift positions in various units. Candidates must have Level 1 Trauma experience and be proficient in EPIC electronic medical records.

📅 Start Date: April 24, 2025
📅 End Date: July 30, 2025
⏰ Shifts: Combination of 8-hour & 12-hour shifts (Day Shift)
🏥 Units: Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Med/Surg Float Pool
⚡ Experience Required: Level 1 Trauma

• 🔥 Certified Burn Center

• ❤️ Accredited Stroke & Chest Pain Center

• 🏥 11 Med/Surg Units, 7 Specialized ICUs, 1 Step-Down Unit

• 🧠 Adult Psych, Pediatric & Adult ORs

• 🚁 2 Heli-Pads

✅ Qualifications

• 🎓 Certification: Current New York State CNA Certification

• 🏅 CPR: Must be able to obtain or renew certification

• 🏥 Experience: Minimum 1 year of patient care experience

• 🩺 Health Clearance: Successful completion of pre-employment health screening

📝 Job Responsibilities

• 🤝 Demonstrate excellent communication & teamwork skills

• 🩻 Provide direct & indirect patient care, including:

  • 📋 Obtaining vital signs

  • 🚿 Assisting with toileting, bathing, & feeding

  • 👀 Serving as a safety companion for at-risk patients

• ⏳ Respond to changing patient needs with professionalism & efficiency

• 🏥 Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team

• 🔒 Ensure a safe environment & contribute to quality improvement initiatives

• 💬 Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff

• ⚖️ Uphold ethical principles in patient care and decision-making
