ACI Federal is seeking Assistant SUD Coordinator - OBOT for Direct Hire
OVERVIEW
Coordinates, manages and provides direct care in the agency's OBOT treatment program for individuals with opioid use disorders and their families, including the mobile unit. Work is performed under general supervision and is guided by agency policies and procedures, state and judicial regulations, quality assurance, public and private payor guidelines, diagnostic guidelines and professional practices and including ethical standards related to client interactions, state and federal licensure and accreditation regulations and guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Extensive knowledge of individual, family and group treatment theories and techniques relating to individuals with opioid use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health disorders; thorough knowledge of medical providers, social services and other agencies and community organizations providing services to people with substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health disorders; thorough knowledge of individuals mandated to treatment; ability to supervise, evaluate and coordinate the work of an interdisciplinary team; ability to establish and maintain rapport with the individual population; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff of other private and public agencies and organizations; ability to plan the work of, train, supervise and evaluate clinical and administrative subordinates; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to operate a vehicle; ability to function calmly in stressful situations; ability to prepare and maintain detailed records and prepare related reports; ability to confidently provide expert testimony in both oral and written formats; ability to develop and conduct training programs for clinical staff; ability to conduct effective interviews, observe, assess and record individual behaviors and functioning and develop treatment and service plans.
TYPICAL EDUCATION, TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related Behavioral Sciences field and extensive clinical work experience and supervisory experience in the treatment of those impacted by substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Unrestricted license as a LCSW, LPS, LMFT, LCP or LSATP; Valid VA driver's license.
