In this role, you will perform high-quality radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and adherence to radiation protection standards. Position Details

  • šŸ•’ Shifts: 8-hour shifts (5 Days, 2 Nights)
  • šŸ’° Compensation: $55.75/hr

Key Responsibilities

āœ”ļø Greet patients and provide clear explanations of the examination process.
āœ”ļø Accurately position patients and adjust exposure settings for optimal imaging.
āœ”ļø Ensure radiation safety and minimize unnecessary exposure.
āœ”ļø Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report any malfunctions.
āœ”ļø Process films and maintain accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
āœ”ļø Adhere to departmental protocols and procedures as outlined in policy manuals.
āœ”ļø Perform radiologic exams as requested by referring physicians and radiologists.

Qualifications

āœ… A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
āœ… Active NYS License/Registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
āœ… Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Required).
āœ… Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
